How to make Honey Garlic Pork Rice Bowl recipe
First, season the pork bites with salt and pepper, and coat them in corn starch. This will ensure a nice even crust and smooth sauce when deglazing with chicken stock. Then brown the pork in the pan until golden brown and cooked through. Finally, add minced garlic, honey, chicken stock, lemon juice, and hot sauce. Simmer for 3-5 minutes until the sauce gets reduced and slightly sticky. Serve the pork immediately over rice. Easy!

Directions
1.To make the honey garlic pork bites: Add the diced pork to a large salad bowl with cornstarch, salt, and pepper. Mix to evenly coat all the pork pieces.
2.Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Melt butter into the oil and add the seasoned pork cubes and cook on all sides until golden brown, for about 6-8 minutes. You may need to work in batches to avoid overcrowding the pan and steaming the pork bites instead of browning them.
3.Once the pork is done cooking, pour over the garlic, honey, chicken stock (or beef stock), lemon juice, and hot sauce (if using) and stir to completely coat; allow the sauce to simmer for a couple of minutes to meld all the flavors and reduce a little until it sticks to the pork bites.
4.Garnish the honey garlic pork bites with fresh chopped parsley and red chili pepper flakes, then serve over rice and steamed broccoli. Enjoy!❤️

Tips for the honey garlic pork rice bowl recipe
- When searing the diced pork, ensure the oil in your pan is hot before adding the meat to get a nice golden sear. Use a large pan to avoid over-crowding and simmering pork in its juice. You want it to fry, not steam!
- For the best flavors like the pork in this recipe, make sure to use freshly minced garlic, not garic powder.
What to serve with honey garlic pork bites?
You can serve honey garlic pork over rice and broccoli as we did in the pictures, but feel free to bring in your sides! Pasta, bulgur, couscous, zucchini noodles, cauliflower rice, or even salad are all wonderful with this pork recipe.
How to meal prep the pork rice bowl?
Cook the pork according to directions, then store it in an airtight container in your refrigerator until ready to assemble. Reheat pork, covered, in the microwave until just heated through, then assemble with rice and steamed veggies.
What to do with pork leftovers?
You can keep the honey garlic pork leftovers for up to 2 days in an airtight container stored in your refrigerator. Throw your leftover pork bites in your salads, or meal prep!

This was awesome. Just the right touch of spice. I added a tsp of cornstarch to the liquid just for a little more thickness of the sauce. Excellent.

Made for dinner last night! Followed the recipe exactly, the whole family loved it! The only thing I might do differently next time (because there will definitely be a next time) is to cut the pork cubes a little smaller. Thanks for this delicious recipe!
